Kaymakli underground city is 21 kilometers away from Nevshehir. Consisting of eight floors, Kaymakli Underground City contains wineries, narrow corridors, food warehouses, churches and many bolt stones.

Another feature of Guvercinlik Valley Cappadocia, in addition to the churches, monasteries and underground settlements carved into the rocks, is the dovecotes built on the upper parts of the fairy chimneys and valleys, which many visitors do not even notice.

Goreme was an important centre of early Christianity.Very little is known about Göreme's history until modern times in part because it was a small settlement away from the more travelled main roads linking Kayseri to Konya and the Mediterranean coast to Aksaray. The village contains several pillared tombs believed to date back to Roman times. In Byzantine times what is now Göreme was actually two separate but adjacent villages: Corama where the modern Open Air Museum can be found, and Matiana/Macan where the modern village is.

The Ihlara Valley (or Peristrema Valley; Turkish Ihlara Vadisi) is a canyon which is 15 km long and up to 150 m deep in the southwest of the Turkish region of Cappadocia, in the municipality of Güzelyurt, Aksaray Province.

Belisırma is a village in Güzelyurt District, Aksaray Province, Turkey. Its population is 502 (2021). The distance to Güzelyurt is 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) and to Aksaray is 42 kilometres (26 mi). Although a small village, Belisırma is well known because of various ruins around it. The church ruins of Ala, Bezirhane, Karagedik and Direkli are Byzantine cave churches.

Yaprakhisar Koyu is a city in Aksaray Province, Türkiye. It has many popular attractions, including Selime Cathedral, Yaprakhisar Panaroma, making it well worth a visit.
